No offense to the talented Brian Murphy, but how in the high holy fuck did this half-assed article get over a thousand likes in one night/morning?Because people like Facebook, stuff that they think is real, and anything that embarrasses someone else.
The funny thing is, it’s so clearly fake, yet there’s an argument on Digg about whether it’s real or not because they subbed out the first picture that said “43 people likes this” for one that has the grammatically correct “43 people like this”, and now people are getting buried for calling it fake.
Collegehumor realizes the lowest common denominator is pretty damn low, and easily exploitable.
