Dumbest movie concept ever:
Let’s have the two main characters communicate via letter and fall in love. But wait! Let’s have them communicate from two separate times! They can live in the same house at different times, and magically send letters through time using the crazy mailbox!
Is this something I made up? No. This is “The Lakehouse” with Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves.
Why am I watching this?
Is the mailbox really magic? I always assumed (without having seen the movie) that whichever of them was in the past just put letters in a regular mailbox and the person in the future just happened to get them…I don’t know how that would work in a romantic manner…or how the future person would respond to the letters…but at least my plot line doesn’t involve magic.
